Amenities left nothing to be desired. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.Location was good for catching ferries
Many steps to navigate with luggage
Fabulous location for people new to Brisbane - great spot to start exploring the city and surrounding suburbs. Lovely gardens and pool area, good views of Brisbane River. Friendly and helpful staff.
Roomy and homely 3 bedroom apartment, with nice terrace. Good facilities on site and well stocked kitchen. Better than my own apartment to be honest.
We only had fresh linen on day one. There was no other linen available in the apartment, although in fairness we didn't ask for any replacements and we could washed the towels in the ample wash house.
The staff was most helpful during our stay.
There was no lift, and many steps. Careful if you have a bunch of luggage!!
Easy access to the facilities we needed, spa was a blast for our children loved swimming in winter.
The beds to sleep in were a little hard.
The owners/managers/staff of Bridgewater Terraces were all very friendly and helpful throughout our time with them during the Brisbane Floods. The facilities were all well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. Our room was an excellent size and layout and it was very roomy for a 10 day stay.
There was nothing that we didn't like about our stay at Bridgewater Terraces. We were without television and phones for most of our stay but this was due to flooding. The staff kept us well informed at all times on what was happening with the buildings and when the services would be back on. They were excellent even though they were without power for days.
Set in beautiful gardens within easy access to Brisbane (either car or ferry). Staff helped us with 2 car parks (normally only 1/unit)
Our room was tired and b=need a paint and new carpets. Lacked a few basics like a functinal kitchen sink plug.
We spent one week in this hotel which was perfect.
there is hardly anything nearby so we had to travel a lot. Convience store nearby is a total rip off.
Location easy access to Brisbane city centre etc via ferries.
Noise of traffic on Story Bridge No separate recycling bins Dishwasher in apartment broken Bedside lamp in main bedroom faulty
Close proximity to WACA - attended cricket ! Our party consisted of 4 men, so the 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit was terriific.
location in brisbane
probably the few steps getting in and out building when carrying your lugauge
We were a family group and rented two appartments. The thee bedroom appt. was ideal for a group of people to come and go and the wonderful view of the river was relaxing; much appreciated by my elderly father. The beds in our appartment were found to be extremely comfortable by everyone. The place was clean and the facilities were adequate for a family getting together from Melbourne to Townsville, for a wedding.
It would have been good to have pamphlets or information on ferries, and places to eat or get takeaway meals. There was a fair bit of to and fro to the security gate to let famly members not staying in the main flat in. Was there a means of letting people in with the security key pad?
As a base camp for our activities it was excellent. The apartment was spacious with a small garden and great view of the river. The underground parking and on-site pool where a god send.
The gym was of a low standard and no in room wi-fi.
Very pleasant. Will bookmark for future stays in brisbane. Gardens and pool really nice. Unit we were in had a good view of the river.
